AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome)
is the name of the fatal clinical condition that results from infection
with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), which progressively damages the
body's ability to protect itself from disease organisms.

Backordered
Items that are out of stock carry this label. You may still submit an order for a backordered item, but it will not be shipped until we receive more inventory. Lubricated Condoms
Packaged condoms may be treated with water- or silicone-based lubricant. Spermicidally lubricated condoms are clearly marked as such both on their packaging and on the SafeSense website.

Non-Latex Condoms
Some people are allergic to latex and others just prefer an alternate material. SafeSense offers non-latex condoms made of polyurethane and animal membrane.

Nonoxynol-9
Nonoxynol-9 is the active ingredient in all spermicides in the U.S. Recent studies have shown, however, that nonoxynol-9 does not protect against sexually transmitted infections or HIV and, when used frequently, may even cause irritation that increases the risk. Oil-Based Lubricant
Cannot be used with latex condoms. Oil-based lubricants are safe to use with polyurethane or membrane condoms only or during masturbation.
